RALEIGH,
NC – JANUARY 2005 – Cooper Hand Tools has
introduced its Campbell® Cam-Lok® self-locking overhead
lifting hook line featuring a flush-positioned trigger guard
forged into the body, plus positive lock capability to greatly
reduce the chance of unintentional opening. Eye Type and Clevis
Type hooks are available.
Cam-Lok hooks are also available in a wide variety of sizes,
styles and working load limits and are made from 4130 alloy
steel. The hooks are fatigue tested to ASTM A952 and are 100%
proof tested with Certificate of Test included. Latches close
automatically under load. The hooks are designed and manufactured
in the USA.
The eye style is designed to accommodate heavy duty wire rope
thimbles used in the fabrication of wire rope slings. The
release trigger is flush with the body to help protect against
damage or unintentional opening, yet designed for easy operation
even with gloves, and the eyes are stamped with the recommended
wire rope size. The hooks feature rotating and replaceable
pivot pins – an industry exclusive, and bold, high profile
lettering indicates size, chain grade and date code. Teardrop
shape provides maximum strength and snag prevention. There
are integrated forged latches with positive lock capability
plus wide openings to provide easy access to bowls of hooks.
Made to Grade 100 specifications, Cam-Lok lifting hooks are
available through industrial distribution.
